This lets me do just a quick swipe and it mostly turns around at full stick speed for quite some time. I always use low trackball friction and i lower the vertical sensitivity scale thing in advanced. One thing I do with nearly all Jmouse games I play that I forgot to mention. That is super reasonable, fresh is always best. Or maybe modders will do something about it, because it is starting to seem like this is more Fallout's problem than the controller's. Originally posted by coltron:Not your fault! I appreciate the information.ĭid they say the same thing about the acceleration settings? Maybe acceleration worked but not sensitivity? Even if it's like you say and that just makes it cap out faster, I guess it's possible that could have been the difference I'm noticing? I'm confused/frustrated and probably need to stop and come back to this fresh. I use Skyrim with JMouse and it is quite nice and I know most Bethesda RPGS are essentially the same only iterated so there is bound to be something. Maybe someone else can jump in who has FO4 and shed some light on what can be done. Most Bethesda FPS RPGS will have some sort of INI tweaking you can do so maybe you can make it go higher than the in game slider normally allows.
#Splatoon joystick sensitivity sucks update
The update that fixed the polling rate first removed the sensitivity slider in Jmouse, at the time I started using it. I didnt use that far back because the super low polling rate was a real problem. Everyone else has said the sensitivity setting did nothing, in the change log it said that it didnt do what the user would think it does and now I dont know. I dont have any idea what could have changed to much in the update to make it do that to you. Dude, super sorry ur having such a rough time with this. I just have less tools to work with now, I guess. I am fully invested in making the transition to steam controller for pretty much all my gaming. I had what felt like mouse precision I could flick to turn around quickly I even had gyro set up for when I fully click the left trigger to aim, for precision sniping. I could use my 360 controller, but that feels like such a huge step backwards. Too much emotional investment, and you realize how stupid the keyboard mappings are (press enter to escape the settlement crafting menu?) when you switch to controller. I liked how it felt before now I don't.Īnd yeah, I originally played the game with mouse/kb, but I spent long hours getting the steam controller working right, and now that I'm used to it I'll probably quit before going back. I could turn on the HUD and figure out just what you mean (I think I have some idea, though), but that won't change much for me. Now that it's gone, my camera is too slow.
